Yoga Is More Than Stretching
We usually perceive yoga in the west as some sort of exercise or the requirement to be flexible but this is far from the truth. There is a much deeper meaning to yoga and I am excited to share more.
Let's start with Patanjalis yoga sutra "Yogas chitta vritti nirodha” meaning that yoga calms the fluctuations of the mind.
Yoga = To yoke, to join, to unite
Chitta = Consciousness
Vritti = Fluctuations
Nirodah = Quieting
Although we cannot stop our thoughts fully, what Patanjali is teaching us is a method of quieting the mind to allow us to create union of mind, body and spirit. To fulfil a fundamental yearning for something more. ​

Asana

Pranayama

Kriya
Powerful sequential postures, breathwork, and locks designed to purify the body and mind.

Raja
The path of mental discipline and meditation, focusing on controlling the mind to achieve liberation.

Karma
The path of selfless action, emphasizing service to others and detachment from the fruits of one's labour.

Mantra
Sacred sounds or syllables chanted to cultivate inner peace and connection.

Bhakti
The path of devotion, focusing on cultivating love and surrender to the divine.

My Approach
I offer an integrated approach to yoga which draws upon authenticity of ancient yogic practices, including Himalayan breath work, Kundalini kriya, meditation and mantra. Through these practices combined we allow ourselves to tap into a deeper space of stillness; point zero.
My aim is to create the space for you to find that point zero, where everything becomes effortless, blissful and peaceful. We spend so much of our time focusing on the external World, I invite you to take a moment to really look inwards and create this beautiful relationship with oneself.
